Citizen Registration

The Embassy of the Republic of Liberia in Abuja encourages all Liberian citizens residing in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to register with the Embassy. Registration enables the Embassy to provide efficient consular support, emergency assistance, diaspora services, and official updates.

Why Citizen Registration Is Important

Citizen Registration helps the Embassy to:

  • Identify and document Liberians living within our jurisdictions

  • Provide rapid assistance during emergencies or distress situations

  • Verify citizenship status for consular services

  • Communicate official information and public notices

  • Support diaspora programs, education, employment, and community engagement

  • Facilitate statistical data for national planning and policy formulation

Students, Workers, Residents, Visitors, and Diaspora Community Members
