Profile of the Minister Counselor & Deputy Chief of Mission

 

The Minister Counselor and Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) at the Embassy of the Republic of Liberia in Abuja is a seasoned public servant and diplomat with extensive expertise in governance, public policy, maritime affairs, and international relations. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Master’s in Public Administration (Public Policy), a Master of Science in Maritime Affairs (Ocean Sustainability, Governance, and Management), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Foreign Relations and Diplomacy.

 

He has served Liberia in several senior capacities, including Assistant Minister of Land and Rail Transport, Director General of the Liberia Standards Authority, and Board Member of the Liberia Special Economic Zone Authority. In February 2024, he was nominated as Deputy Minister for Land and Rail Transport. Alongside his public service, he has contributed to academia as a part-time lecturer at Stella Maris Polytechnic University and the United Methodist University in Liberia.

 

With this diverse background, the DCM brings strategic leadership and technical expertise to advancing Liberia’s diplomatic, economic, and development interests in Nigeria, Benin, Equatorial Guinea, and ECOWAS.
